Just wanted to post some updates, if there's anyone that is interested in reading them, of course ^^'

I am really busy now, more tired and more moody lol.
Please be patient with me guys, contest results and adding last entries will be done as soon as possible. I just need a while for this.
Commissions will be done asap too, I will hopefully finish another one this weekend, maybe more. but now I have everyday full time job/ internship plus university every two weekends so I have not much time even on weekends. this weekend I'm at university too, but not very long, so I hope to finish some arts.
In the meantime, I'm working on adoptables mainly. I've noticed they are a huge stress relievers, as I love designing characters and they are very much fun and take not much time since they're on my own made bases and flat colored, so I do them quite often. Hope you don't mind, but they really help me a lot, make me feel better, too. Same with chibis.
I should do more OC art. I hope to do some soon, but in the last while I simply wasn't in the mood. I hope you will forgive me not drawing my cuties so often.... but I just draw what I prefer ^^'
I also wanted to say that the last chibi contest was an unexpected huge success, so I'm planning another one (hopefully) soon. Not sure if chibi or a normal one, but it will be about drawing one of my OCs, too.

Ahhh I need to go to sleep soon, I'm tired *needs sleep* I can't stay long now because I need to wake up early, so I can't draw that much everyday anymore *sadface*
But I also have many many ideas and things I wanna do, including new drawings, doing earrings, new adoptables and all that stuff

I just need time for everything.. eeek..

OMG guys, I don't know what to say! I just hit 500,000 pageviews! that's super awesome! I don't deserve this! when I joined DA I never imagined to reach such great number!
Plus in addition, my pageview counter for today went crazy! over 2000 pageviews just today?! that's crazy! was it because of the contest that I just posted? [link] or was it because of my 500k kiriban?

Either way, I am so so SO much flattered and grateful for all the support I'm getting from you my dear sweethearts! Thank you for the bottom of my heart!

~CONTEST RULES~

- Draw my Original Character Izka. Please draw her in the clothes from reference pics. You can simplify the outfit if it has too many details, but please dont change it too much! Her main reference is this one: [link]
- Draw Izka in CHIBI form!! fullbody chibi is preffered. What is chibi? It's a childish or 'super deformed' form, with usually big head compared to rest of the body. I am bad at explaining so please read: [link] & [link] chibi examples: [link] & [link] ask if you have any questions! Please DO draw her in chibi mode, I won't accept non chibi entries! the head to body size should be 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3!
- Izka's hair is red, but not deep red, it's actually a bit of orange and brownish too. please check the reference and don't change her hairstyle! Her eyes are blue.
- Her angelic, normal, back wings are optional. you can but you don't have to add them. Please try to add her head wings though!! Back wings can be either purple OR light blue OR white OR orange/golden. Head wings are only orange/ golden. The magical heart crystal is optional too.
- The finished artwork size/ dimension should be a MAXIMUM of 600 x 600 pixels!! You can work on bigger sizes of course but please resize it later.
-The artwork can be drawing/ painting/ pixel art ONLY! no photomanipulations, photos, sculptures, literature etc. Animation is acceptable!
-The entry can contain only one character; only IZKA, please do not add any other humanoid characters. please make her recognizable!
-You can add small animals or objects, just not other characters like ocs or fanart... random things are fine, like hearts, or a kitty, or a rainbow, cloud, baloon etc. as long as Izka is the main part of the image
-You must give credits to the character seen on the entry! for example: Izka (c) to Izka197; Izka (c) =izka197 or my icon.
-Background is allowed, but not needed. Transparent background is preffered, but others will be accepted too.
-Please don't use bases, drawing should be done by you!
-It can be colored artwork or black & white, but no wips. scraps, sketches, linearts! the artwork must be fully finished!
-NO NUDITY strange fetishes, bondage, violence and such of course. chibis are supposed to be cute so yeah xD
-Only one entry per contestant.
-When you finish send me a link to the piece from your gallery in a note please ^^ with the title "chibi izka contest" or something like this.
-You can't use old submissions! the picture has to be submitted after May 25th and before deadline of course. The entry has to be made spacifically for this contest, so please don't enter with commissions for me, art trades etc.

Tired and updates

waaah I'm really tired today I haven't slept well because my doggie is ill since 2 days (but he was at vet today so it should be better soon but got some injections poor thing I love him so much and hate when he's so sad and feeling bad and if somethng hurts him T-T ) and I am so tired after work that the only thing I want is to sleep so I need to go to sleep soon xD plus I will have university this weekeend so I won't sleep or relax much too

but oh well the job/ internship itself is pretty ok so far quite nice people and nice work not too hard but sometimes fun (depends what xD ) plus the atmosphere is overall nice so I'm happy about it and I hope it will stay like this. I will try to work on commissions soon, as soon as I breathe a bit and sort out my life a bit ^^'
I plan some more adoptables soon (I will open commissions but not earlier than when I finish most of the current ones) as I just spent some money on food and house things and will have to make my doggie x-ray and blood test next week so any extra monies would be great, and it's still soooooo incredibly long till my first payment argh, anyway maybe you can check my open ones and/ or feature them? it would help me so much [link] thank you <3 (why do we always need money when we have no extra cash available, in the hardest situations, and why is everything so freaking expensive T-T life is so unfair awww.. )

and besides all that.... talk to me if you want? xD though I will probably will reply tomorrow not today but still...

Changes, some important info

I just have some info to say, as I know some people might be interested in a few things that I will mention, so I thought about letting you know about some changes and... stuff.

So, I'm starting my job on Monay, May 6th. Well, not a normal jub, but kind of practice job, I don't know how it's called in english ^^' ( upd: it might be called internship I think, something similar). but still with normal working hours Mon-Fri, for 6 months for now. but it's in City Hall's Section of Geodesy, and my university direction is Geodesy and Cartography, so I'm very happy :3 The earnings are rather small _{_{(rather very small)}}, but hey it's better than nothing, and it's in my specialization, so yay, I'm happy

but also a bit nervous, because this will be my first real job... but I hope it will all be ok

But, because of this, I need to delay some things, because I'm afraid I might have less time for art, or might be tired more often, and I need to set up my 'new' life again, reorganize my time and all important things, and then decide on art related stuff, and until I do this;

-art trades, collabs are closed until further notice. I want to do more, but nto at this moment, sorry.
-requests are closed as always.
-free giveaways will be limited. I'm planning one, but it will be delayed a bit.
-contest opening will be delayed a bit.
-groups contests will probably be limited.
-kiriban will stay at 500k, for active watchers, where you can win a simple knees up, more info here: [link]
-commissions will be open as soon as I finish most of the current ones, but with a slot system. depending on my time and many other aspects, I mght open 3 slots, 5, or even 10, I need to see first how much I will be able to work during week and on weekends, if the amount of my time for art will be much smaller, a bit smaller, or not smaller at all (if the job won't be tiring that much), I also plan on doing a few prepose coms hopefully soon.
-personal art will be always open xD I need to focus more on my personal art anyway lol.
-I'm planning some fanarts and I already have some ideas, but some might be delayed, until I really want to do a specific character at some time, lol.
-adoptables will still be submitted quite often I hope, as I have so many design ideas, and I love doing them, and I love when people like them enough to adopt them

I will do many types of adopts: chibis, fullbody, fancharacters, original, autobuy, auction, offer, free giveaway raffles. I also want to try at designing animals/ creatures and anthros at some later time ^^ I do hope you enjoy them at leat a bit, because I really love making them and designing makes me happy and people adopting them make me double happy

-I'm also planning some feature journals, maybe something else like informative journals with tips etc that might help, but these will also be delayed ^^'

Thank you for understanding and being patient, though I really really hope I will still be able to work quite often on my art, and having a job besides university won't force me to stop doing what I love so much. art is a huge part of my life and I can't imagine not drawing so often, I just can't life without art

Sometimes, when I'm very proud of an artwork and/ or I've spent many hours on it, it gets very little feedback. and when I submit something done quickly, or is something I don't really like THAT much, has more mistakes etc, it gets 3546850685 messages.. it's kinda annoying XD sometimes it dissapoints me.. makes me wonder if I did pretty bad on the picture I'm proud of, or what else is wrong with me XD
any opinions on this?

Thank you everyone! I sent a few notes already. hope the rest will forgive me! but I wanna say that I might go back to this journal after I do some collabs and will have some free time :3 There are people I still wanted to make a collab with but I noted too many people already right now ^^' so I hope I will be able to do more in the future!

I rarely do collabs, but I did one adoptable collab and it was fun sooo... I want to do one or two more

But please PLEASE read my RULES i'm sorry but I do have rules *feels bad* but I prefer to have everything written before to avoid confusions and misunderstandings! Hope you will understand.

* I am looking for people that will put effort, love, time and heart into the collab. No rushed lines or colors, or I will have to stop the collab. I put these into my art and I want you to do the same. If you make lines make them 'closed', not open, shaky, sketchy etc. same with colors. I am not very good but I'm trying my best so please do the same

* Most important rule: I receive the full payment someone pays me for the adoptable, and then send you your part. So you must trust me if you want to do a collab with me. I will not cheat.
* I submit the full image into my gallery, with all infos on buying or auctioning, it will be placed on my account under my submission please. You can post it in your gallery too, but with redirecting people to read rules and bid/ buy on my submission please.
* I am open to any styles and ideas. I can either line or color. I can choose palette, or you. It can be fullbody (1 per sheet), chibi (max 3 per sheet) or mini (max 4 per sheet). Everything can be talked about, I'm open to any ideas.
* They can either be money or point adopts, but again I take the payment and then send you your part. You will also need paypal for money payments. if I receive a less amount (because of paypal fee) you will receive half of the lower amount, to be fair.
* I can't guarantee that every adopt will be sold and when, as some of my adopts weren't sold, but we can try... I guess that's obvious :3
* Don't be offended if I don't choose you. I will only choose a small amount of people, so please, don't be sad or angry on me if I won't choose you! I really don't want anyone to feel bad because of me not choosing him!

ummm yes I guess these are the most important rules. if you agree to them and still want to do an adoptable collab with me, comment here or send me a note, telling that you agree to my rules, and with a few examples of your coloring or lineart works, or adoptables if you did any before. please state which part do you want to do (lineart or color)

Car problems update- good news!

So I got a good news for once! the price for the car will be arround a half lower than the machanics thought at the begginning! it seems that it isn't THAT bad! wohooo I'm so happy about this! of course it's still a lot of money and I haven't collected all of it yet, but thanks to help of my wonderful commissioners I have most part of it

and my boyfriend will help me with the rest

I know it's still a lot of money and stuff but hey finally some good news for a change and I am just so happy about this!

we just will have to check the oil and other things in the car continuosly and if something will be wrong THEN we will have to replace some parts and that might cost a bit. but for now, if everything will be okay- I won't have to spend THAT much! wohooo isn't that great?

at this time I would also like to thank my commissioners and adoptable buyers. this has helped me SO much! without your help I wouldn't be able to pay such amount for the car

so your help is sooo greatly appreciated, and also thank you to those who featured my commissions!

Bad news, problems- depressed :(

So today I left my car at mechanic because something was wrong... and then after a few hours he phoned and told that it's someting really important and really bad that needs to be done as soon as possible... and that I will have to pay at least about 700-800 USD for repair, if not more....

I got depressed. really

life is just argh always throwing rocks under feet, sand into eyes and always bad things happening when I don't have much money...

this situation changed my plans about commissions, art, and not to mention saving money on EVERYTHING.

so I had to reopen my commissions. Please, take a look, and maybe commission me if you can? OR buy any of my adoptables? any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I really adore this design for Akki- that suits her in 100% ! As a villain, skulls and armor parts look wonderful, plus I adore the cirset-thing idea. simply stunning! I also love the hair and neck accessories- they add a lot to the overal outfit design. not only she looks baddass and dangerous, but also really beautiful and bery sexy!

Adelle looks beautiful and somehow playful in this outfit, but it highlights her angelic appearance and shows the steampunk theme as well- the corset and upper part/ her shirt are my favorite parts. the shoes and stockings match perfectly, too ^^

Akki the demoness looks perfect here- very sexy and very dangerous as well! her human form, Akira, has very elegant and beautiful clothing designs. In addition, the cards theme for the twins and lolita themes with ruffles- wow, I must say that I am stunned! ^^

4th place-

Wow, Crystal looks soooo elegant and beautiful in these clothes, they match her perfectly! Her headband is one of my favorite parts- but also the ribbons and all details. wonderful dress design! ^^

5th place-

Melanie as another villain, looks simply stunning in this design! I really love the arm additions and the fishnet stockings with such shoes and shorts- ahhh a great combination! her hairband really looks great and fits the rest of the outfit, too ^^

6th place-

Ami's so sweet and pretty in these clothes- it fits her so much! all the details are amazing- such wonderful design. the moon necklace, start on her skirt part- Ami's main shapes and themes are shown off wonderfully. plus all the lovely placed ribbons and top buttons, oh my ^^

It's not art related or nothing really bad happened, I guess it's just temporary, but I somehow feel a bit sad and not in a mood for many things *hides under a blanket with a cup of tea or hot chocolate*
maybe it's the weather, depressing, or I don't know, maybe just life >< oh well. hope it will be better soon :C

so... it's even worse today :/ and yesterday I was hoping it will be a better day.... I had so many things go wrong today, plus my washing mashine might be kinda destroyed or something, I don't really know, I hope we won't need to buy a new one because I have no monies for it

CHALLENGE 13: STEAMPUNK

Rules:

*All what you have to do in this challenge is to draw your own Original Character with the theme STEAMPUNK.
*Be sure to show the theme properly! entries that won't show the theme won't be accepted sorry!
*It can be any humanoid original character! human, anthro, fantasy humanoid (fairy, mermaid, catgirl etc ). Male or female!
*Animals, dragons or other creatures that are not humanoids aren't allowed this time.
* You can use an existing OC, or create a new one. It doesn't matter if you used this OC before or will use it in the future, you can use it only once for this contest too of course!
*The pic can include only one original character! one OC per entry plz. you can have max 3 entries, so you can enter 3 OCs, or 1 OC in three outfits, etc.
*Background is allowed, but not needed.
*The pic can be a headshot, waist up, knees up or fullbody. Chibi is ok too.
*Animations are fine! But no photomanipulations or plushies or sculptures sorry! Only digital or traditional drawings and 3D art.
*Please don't use bases, drawing should be done by you!
*It has to be colored of course (traditionally or digitally) (black and white or monochrome fully shaded can be too, just no plain sketches or linearts. it has to be shaded!)

THEME: OUTFIT DESIGNING!!

RULES

-The theme of this contest is pretty simple, and all what you have to do to enter is to create a drawing/ painting with one or more of my Original Characters from my project called Sugar Paradise wearing any clothes that YOU designed!!

-The outfit can be of ANY type you wish! Give them casual clothes, new fighting clothes, kimono, pajamas, swimsuits, maid outfits, lolita, rockstar outfit, christmas outfit, your OCs clothes... and so on. I would appreciate if you wrote in 'artists comments' what kind of outfit(s) you gave her/ them though.

-You can give different outfit themes for different characters.

-Just don't draw them in their original clothes seen on their main references, AND don't give them clothes of any existing character, meaning they can't cosplay as a character from anime/ manga etc. the design has to be yours!

*What is Sugar Paradise? it's my project so far, that someday hopefully will become a manga. I am slowly working on this project

There are girls only, but it will have boys too. just not in this contest

*What are relations between them? On the list, you see two sets: heroines and villains. of course the groups of girls can be hostile against each other. but in general, all heroines are friends and the two villians, Melanie and Akki don't like each other. Akira is a friend of all heroines as well. Twins work usually alone.
*What can they do together? they can fight, they can just walk, stand, sit, do things what friends do, they can eat ice cream, play on beach, swim, play beach ball, go shopping. anything that you can come up with or read from their descriptions that you think fits them. They can also be in love! Check below:
*Available yuri pairings: all BUT Star x Comet (sisters), Melanie and Akki (hate) and Akira x Akki (the same person with two forms). All other yuri pairings are acceptable! Even the twins Lina & Gina can be shown as yuri because they're succubusses so they can tease and be together without any problem. but please don't separate them- they are almost always together. they can be with someone else, too. since I don't have official pairings revealed yet, you can just mix and match the rest in the way you like

You can also do yuri with more than two of them! xD

*you MUST change their clothes, but please try to keep their color schemes so they are recognizable! for example blues for Crystal's outfit etc. other colors are fine too, so no worries, but first please consider their original color schemes.

*Please don't change their hair styles (too much). I want to recognize tham at once! if my characters aren't recognizable I won't be able to accept your entry, sorry!

*Their eye and hair colors must be the same! If you are unsure- ask! I can even give you some color charts if you need them. If you draw them wrong I have the right to not accept the entry and ask you to change them, and if you change I will accept it. please understand!
-Mei's hair colour is deep blue! not light blue! check on the refernce here: [link] (a lot of people did too light blue or turquise T-T )

*Their wings and magical weapons are optional! You can add them if you want, but you don't have to. You can do any idea you wish, so you can add them, or no. Please don't change their magical weapons though! even with clothes changed, weapons should stay the same.

*If you decide to show a fight or showing their attacks, you can just look at refs and descriptions to check their powers and create an attack for them by yourself. creativity is welcome! Just please stick with their powers :3 If you are unsure about anything just ask :3

-The artwork can be drawing/ painting/ 3d art/ animation ONLY! no photomanipulations, photos, sculptures, literature etc.

-The entry can contain only my SP characters, and any number between 1 and 16 characters! You can submit max 3 entries though.

-You must give credits to the characters seen on the entry! for example:
Izka (c) to Izka197; Izka (c) =izka197 or

-You can use free textures, patterns or brushes by other artists, but you need to credit them too giving a link or their username or page.

-Background is allowed, but not needed. Though it's easier to show some themes with a simple bg, but the choice is yours as well.

-The pic HAS to be FULLBODY, please! I want to see the full outfit you create, from head to feet! I also will accept chibis, if you prefer the chibi style over normal, but fullbody too!

-Please don't use bases, drawing should be done by you!

-It has to be colored artwork! I need to see color chemes on their outfits! no black & white arts, wips, scraps, sketches, linearts! the artwork must be fully finished!

-No strange fetishes, bondage, violence, blood and such of course.

-Mature content for some nudity and/ or sexual themes is allowed! Just nothing too explicit please.

-I will collect all entries and comment with a 'thanks for entering' to be fair to everyone I'm leaving the same comment please understand :3 I don't want to favor any entries ^^'

-They can be drawn in any of these ways: cute, sexy, happy, blushing crying being sad etc. Though I prefer happy faces of my characters, but this depends on each piece itself so choose your best idea! ^^ Also they can be doing anything you think fits their appearances and the contest theme.
