Seriously, why do you put your art on DA, then storage it so noone can see it?! That's just silly in my opinion.
If you wish noone to see it, make a folder on you PC and put your art there.
I hate when people are using storage, to be honest. And I hate twice, when stamps or tutorials are being stored. What the hell?! How can we use them if we only see that stupid grey thing?! People, think a bit! It's stupid.
I really know that people can do what they wish with their art, but honestly, I don't get the point of storage. it's silly for me. Especially for things like tuts, stamps, and of course all other stuff. bleh.

i want to clear this out of my chest that i hate storage so much that i will never use it at all,
oh and here's a noob tip for all of the people of deviantART that are using storage, have you ever heard of "EXTERNAL DRIVES"?
it's good to store all of your art files into an external drive in order to save hard-drive space in your computer and i don't give a crap if you don't have enough money to get one.

Especially when you've favorited a piece of awesome artwork, and go back to look at it, only to find that it was put in storage, so now there's a random storage icon in my favorites folder...... >_<

I stored my old art trololol

I think the point of it is if you don't really want to show it anymore. You might be deleting files off your computer because they are taking up space and such, yet you still want to see it yourself without other seeing it and possibly stealing it.
and then when you get an art block you can just look back at your old art and say 'OMG I HAVE ACTUALLY IMPROVED WOOOOAAAH'

It probably has other uses, but I can't really think of anymore so idk lol

I'll be honest I don't really like seeing it myself~ sometimes I just go through my favourites and just go 'ok wtf was the thing I faved idek y would u dO THAT ARGH'

stored tutorials~? xD maybe we can all learn how to draw those grey storage safes ololol

yeah true this might be useful sometimes. it's more that I hate the storage image actually, that it still shows in faves and such ^^; it would be better if I didn't see it XD

While I hate seeing it, it is really useful just if you want to keep the comments and favourites without deleting the deviation.. Example: Imagine that you have very old artwork on your gallery, you dont want anyone to see it; but still you will want to keep those nostalgic, old comments and how many faves do you used to have.

By the way, do you know how to add deviations there? xD
